Amid a whirlwind year involving an ongoing North American tour, B5 extends their iconic R&B legacy with the fire new single “E.T.A.”
Via Motion 6 Collective, the brainchild of renowned industry titan Devyne Stephens, the track captures their signature hip-hop soul sound wrapped in a polished, summer-ready beat.
For fans familiar with B5’s harmony-driven vocals, their newest single harkens back to the music that helped define a generation.
“E.T.A.” captures the thrill of anticipation, where the heightened state of excitement peaks just before your arrival. Melodies collapse and rebuild themselves in the pocket of rubbery bass and skittering hi-hats, resulting in a sing-along for anyone who finds waiting intolerable: “She told me ‘Hurry I can’t wait, what’s your E.T.A.’/I told her ‘Be outside at eight’ / What’s your E.T.A.”
The new music comes on the heels of the R&B quintet’s inclusion in the “Boys 4 Life Tour.” The massive arena run is co-headlined by Bow Wow, marking a full-circle moment more than 20 years after the two acts first shared the stage on the legendary Scream Tour IV: The Heartthrobs in 2005.
The tour will bring back all the early 2000s nostalgia with additional performances by other notable names, including B2K, Waka Flocka, Amerie, Yung Joc, Crime Mob, Dem Franchize Boyz, and special guests Pretty Ricky.
The 28-city tour kicked off last month and wraps on April 26th in Memphis, TN.
